At 14 April joined the Tate moderns, young curators group ‘Raw Canvas’ that’s when she realised it was possible to pursue a career in the arts. During university she won both a research travel bursary to Japan for her interactive geographical childrens book and E-factor (UEL’s annual start up competition) for her childrens brand, which was featured in the July 2013 issue of Canary Wharf Magazine, Enterprise East London and Unltd.

Sarah Lopez is a West Midlands based artist. With a history of performance and visual work she is now undertaking a creative apprentice scheme with the crafts company Craftspace. While there she will work on a youth engagement programme that will look at how crafts can be a medium of change within social justice. She enjoys yoga and reading thick novels. She has hopes to one day own her own media and production company.

Charlotte has been employed as Communications Intern at Geese Theatre Company since November 2014, as part of the Creative Employment Programme. In this role, Charlotte has taken on a wealth of tasks and responsibilities; ranging from database management to creating a digital marketing strategy for the organisation.

Charlotte is passionate about the arts in all formats, but her particular love is theatre. A keen performer throughout school and university, she now uses her spare time in Birmingham to watch as much live theatre as possible, as well as performing regularly with local singing ensemble, Skylarks Choir.

One of her proudest moments, thanks to her apprenticeship, was being part of a panel at the Women of The World conference at Southbank.
