Goodies and giveaways at THIS IS IT! Birmingham

THIS IS IT! Birmingham is almost here, and if you’re heading to the Hippodrome on Friday for the event, you’ll have the chance to win a host of fabulous prizes.

Along with prizes from mac Birmingham, The Drum and illustrator Hunt Emerson, we have goodybags of books, prizes and prints to be won, donated by artists’ showcase site Inkygoodness.

Artists prints from Middleboop illustrator Gordon Reid, illustration tomes from Nobrow Publishing and  T shirts from Preston-based apparel brand Make Make are all up for grabs. To win, keep your ear out on the day for competition tasks – they could include Best Tweet, Best CV and Most Innovative Response to the afternoon’s Creative Brief.

Inkygoodness operates as a showcase for artists working across illustration, character design & graphic art. They provide a platform for new and emerging talent to showcase work alongside established artists offering a unique opportunity for artists to develop professional careers through self-promotion and networking. Inkygoodness Director Lisa Hassell features on our afternoon panel Our Careers So Far, where she will share her own career path,  and opportunities in Birmingham creative industries through Inkygoodness and Glug Events.  Read more.
